Fräsch, a Catalyst Acoustics Group company specializing in innovative acoustical design and sustainable solutions, is pleased to announce its latest breakthrough in acoustical P.E.T. felt with the introduction of FELTLAP. A series of interlocking panels, FELTLAP can be installed on walls or ceilings, mimicking the clean and timeless look of shiplap.

FELTLAP allows users to create a linear design in all Fräsch’s standard 9-millimeter colors and natural, wood tones ranging from darker pecan to a lighter, on-trend grey wash. However, unlike traditional shiplap, FELTLAP is highly customizable; choose a custom-printed design to coordinate with an interior theme, reflect company branding, or provide an aesthetic accent to any space.

Designed with a built-in 27-millimeter air cavity, FELTLAP delivers optimal acoustic performance with an NRC rating of .75. When nested together, FELTLAP provides a finished, polished look without any visible hardware. To enhance the flush visual of FELTLAP, Flannery extrusions can be added, available in black and silver.

Following suit with many of Fräsch’s product offerings, FELTLAP is easy to install and sustainable; it is 100 percent P.E.T. (55 percent recycled content), 100 percent recyclable, with low VOC emissions.
