Turf Design, a manufacturer of custom acoustic solutions, has released its newest addition to its high-performing wall tile series—the Intersect Tile. Intersect is an exploration of folding techniques that come together with soft, curving forms, adding depth and dimension to any interior environment. A cutting-edge addition to TURF’s growing list of products, Intersect’s unique shape allows for endless arrangements, while its interior folds make for exceptional sound absorption. The versatility of the wall tile provides designers with the flexibility and creativity to add eye-catching acoustic solutions to any interior project.
Intersect can be arranged in a variety of layouts. For example, the tiles can be layered for an intertwined, continuous cluster reminiscent of a woven wall, or they can be connected edge to edge like a geometric flower. The innumerable layouts showcase Intersect as a flexible building block that architects and designers can make their own.
The Intersect wall tile can be applied using a pressure-activated adhesive or construction adhesive and is made with a 9-millimeter PET felt board that is 60 percent pre-consumed recycled. The standard tile size measures 18.5 by 16.25 inches with a 13-inch front radius and is 2-inches thick. Sizing option comes in one size and is available in all colors and wood texture finishings. Custom is a standard at TURF, and each product is made to order and the Intersect tiles versatility provides just that.
