Bobrick Washroom Equipment Inc. has introduced Evolve Cubicles, a high-privacy, European-style toilet cubicle system engineered for standard use and heavy-traffic buildings.
As sightline-free design continues to be an expectation in restrooms across a range of building types, Evolve Cubicles help make privacy more accessible for everyday architectural projects.
Evolve comes standard with an array of privacy features, including 72-inch-tall, 1/2-inch-thick Compact Grade Laminate (CGL) doors and panels with 9-inch floor clearance, which are complemented by Bobrick’s award-winning occupancy indicator latch. The system’s patented, spring-loaded, height-adjustable pedestal actuates a self-closing door to ensure a seamless, private experience for patrons. Evolve’s overall cubicle height is 82 inches.
Evolve Cubicles were developed for use in restrooms in shopping centers, stadia and arenas, convention centers, airports, higher education, Class B offices and high-moisture environments, such as locker rooms. The system’s durability is reinforced by an anodized aluminum, floor-anchored, overhead-braced framing system, which provides structural support compared to competitive systems.
Evolve’s 72-inch-deep, single-piece divider panels, exclusively available with FUNDERMAX colors, allow design professionals to optimize Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance with privacy and aesthetics. Most cubicle dividers deeper than 60 inches require two panels connected by unattractive brackets to achieve the desired depth. Evolve’s CGL divider panels provide a single-piece solution, eliminating the need for extra hardware while offering stability and design continuity.
Evolve is available in a variety of standard colors, patterns and woodgrains. With FUNDERMAX colors, Evolve Cubicles achieve a Class A ASTM E 84 Interior Finish Classification at a price point comparable to most Class B finishes. Class B finishes are also available.
