MechoSystems has rolled out an innovative new product: MagnaShade. The patented shade system is super-wide and motorized. It does the work of multiple shade bands while bridging light gaps and minimizing seams. But unlike conventional wide shades, MagnaShade also features a low profile. Due to the unique cradle element, its innovative, modular design adds rigid support to the shade tube without increasing its diameter.
Key features:
- Full integration options designed into the motor.
Shading or blackout at widths up to 40 feet.
Small, rounded profile of about 6 inches.
No tube deflection.
Better support of the architectural-design intent.
Simplified installation.
Standard wiring.
Available with a variety of shadecloths.
Components:
- Backplate.
Shadecloth.
Shade cradle.
Front and bottom fascias.
The backplate fastens to the ceiling or wall. Multiple attachment points across the span add support. The shade cradle then hooks top-edge-first onto the backplate and is lowered into place, taking screws along the bottom. Finally, the fascia conceals the cradle along the bottom and across the front.
This modularity reduces hassles, adds security, and, by making an economical use of architectural space, is more accommodating of design intent.
