Matrix Medium sinks can be adjusted up to 7.8-inches in height via an optional crank handle or an electric pushbutton. The design of the back-wall of the sink conceals plumbing, providing hygiene and access for wheelchair bound individuals. The mounting brackets of the sink are located on the wall away from the floor, ensuring adequate space for wheelchair foot plates. A fixed version is also available.
In addition to adjustability, Matrix Medium sinks feature molded-in hand grips with rounded edges for a secure hold. The integrated grips are useful for people who require standing assistance or who have difficulty maintaining their balance.
Further, the size and shape of the sink has been optimized for both seated and standing users. For example, the front edge of the basin is curved inward to enable users to get closer to the water and operate the faucet. A raised back edge and surface profile help direct splashed water back into the bowl.
