QMotion Advanced Shading Systems’ introduces its Transitions Roller Shade Collection, which combines the opacity of a slatted blind with the translucency of a light-filtering roller shade. A new option for window coverings, the Transitions Shades offer the benefits of light and visibility management.
The Transitions Shades combine special roller fabrics featuring alternating stripes of clear and light-filtering substrates with QMotion’s patented whisper-quiet motor. For a private view, customers would position the shades with the stripes all solid; or for a more open or sheer view, the shades would be positioned for more incremental shading and natural light control.
Similar to Qadvanced Roller Shades, the Transitions Shades are battery operated with no exposed wires. For those infrequent times when you may need to change the standard alkaline batteries, simply open the cassette cover without having to take the shades off the window.
QMotion’s Transitions Shades are available in a large selection of sizes and work with the cassette system that replaces the need for a fascia. The cassette system is offered in five colors of white, sand, silver, black and bronze. The Transitions Shades will initially be available in four fabric collections and 25 colors enabling customers to select the right finish for their distinguished style.
Operating with modern control technology, QMotion Transitions Shades can interface with most building and home automation systems. In addition to working with automated systems, QMotion has developed iOS and Android apps for making raising and lowering shades easy.
The Transitions Collection was recognized with a 2015 EXC!TE Award from Technology Integrator and a Best Award from CE Pro.
