REHAU introduced its RAUVISIO high-gloss laminate and glass-design surfaces at KBIS 2015. Available in cut-to-size components, RAUVISIO enables high-end kitchen and bath design aesthetics at lower cost and no investment in equipment.
RAUVISIO high-gloss surfaces have a color-matched acrylic top layer that enhances color vibrancy and UV resistance. The laminate, balancing sheet and edgeband are matched to each other, producing a high-quality finished board.
RAUVISIO crystal glass-design surfaces provide the elegance of real glass in a lightweight, scratch- and impact-resistant polymer that can be cut and drilled during installation. Fabricated with the laser-compatible Visions Duo-Design edgeband, RAUVISIO crystal achieves a convincing glass-top design, recognized by the interzum award 2013 for its high product quality.
Finished, cut-to-size high-gloss laminate components for cabinet doors and drawer fronts makes the look of glass-top and solid surface lacquered finishes easy to achieve. Available in 13 colors from stock, the cut-to-size components are produced to order and combine a matching RAUVISIO surface with the seam-free technology of REHAU LaserEdge edgeband.
RAUVISIO can also be ordered as individual matching components (laminate, balancing sheet and edgeband) or pressed boards PUR-laminated in a clean room for a flawless effect. RAUVISIO is heat, moisture and UV-resistant for a surface solution that provides lasting color quality in a seam-free, high-gloss finish.
RAUVISIO edgebands can be applied using standard edgebanders with traditional adhesive or further processed into LaserEdge, which is applied using the latest laser or hot air edgebanders for a seam-free board.
