Neolith’s Classtone in Onyx
Neolith, a brand of all-natural sintered compact surfaces from TheSize Surfaces SL, is expanding its Classtone product line for 2015. New colors include Calacatta and Travertine-inspired models and a highly-anticipated Onyx-inspired shade that can be backlit. These new styles are imprinted on Neolith’s reliable, high-performance brand of sintered compact surface for use in commercial or residential settings.
Initially introduced at 2014’s Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, Classtone seamlessly blends the high-end look of marble and other stone surfacing with the innovative design and technical features of Neolith’s classic product. Like their predecessors, these new colors utilize Neolith Digital Design (NDD), a state-of-the-art decoration technique, to attain marble-like features; the result is a slab that is indistinguishable from marble, but that can stand up to the rigors of daily life.
The Classtone collection now encompasses seven vibrant, intricate designs: Estatuario, Crema Marfil, Pulpis, Calacatta, Travertino Clasico, Travertino Navona and Onyx. The popular Estatuario color, which will have two additional patterns in 2015, and the new Calacatta model, will be available in bookmatched pieces. Calacatta slabs are also available for purchase with an “end match effect,” which matches the veins of one slab exactly to that of the next—this creates the illusion that multiple slabs are all one consistent piece. Made with translucent clays, the Onyx color uses proprietary technology to create a durable, sintered surface that can be backlit—a first for the market.
Available in a 6mm or 12mm thickness and a 3200 by 1500mm size format, Classtone is especially suited for countertops, flooring and wall cladding. Onyx and Travertino Navona are available in a Polished finish; the remaining models are available in a matte Silk or Polished finish.
All of Neolith’s collections are 100 percent natural, composed of raw materials—clays, feldspar, silica and natural mineral oxides—and are recyclable. Neolith has near-zero porosity, making the product hygienic, stain resistant, easy to clean and impervious to chemicals. Neolith slabs are also wear, scratch, heat resistant and its natural colors will never fade from exposure to UV rays. The product is also lightweight and easy to install, making Neolith suitable for virtually every indoor and outdoor residential or commercial surface.
